Set up a forex company in St Kitts & Nevis.

The federation known for asset-protection law offers forex exactly what its statutes offer, and nothing more: the FSRC licenses insurers, money services and fiduciaries; retail forex brokerage is not on its list. A Nevis LLC or BC is a registration inside a licensed group, not a licence. We build the accurate version, end to end.

St Kitts & Nevis in brief

Asset-protection law, told straight about forex.

St Kitts and Nevis runs a two-island regulatory system under the Financial Services Regulatory Commission, and its licensable list is specific: credit unions, insurance, money services businesses, gaming, fiduciary services and their neighbours. Retail forex brokerage is not among them. There is no St Kitts or Nevis forex licence; what the federation registers are companies - most famously Nevis LLCs and business corporations under ordinances built for asset protection, with charging-order remedies and litigation barriers that made Nevis a fixture of wealth-structuring practice.

That heritage defines the real role: Nevis entities serve superbly as the holding and protection layer of a brokerage group - the level where founders hold their stakes - while the operating licences live in jurisdictions that issue them, from the Seychelles and Mauritius to Labuan and MiFID Europe. Used that way, the federation adds something none of its registration-hub peers offer: statutory asset-protection architecture above the licensed core. Used as a fake licence flag, it adds only risk. We build the first version - entity, protection layer and licensed group as one programme, and we will say so plainly if you have been offered the second.

The accurate version: the FSRC licenses insurance, MSBs and fiduciaries, not retail forex. Nevis entities are registrations with famous asset-protection law, not licences.

The build that works: Nevis holding layer above real licences (Seychelles, Mauritius, Labuan, MiFID). We deliver both ends from Basseterre.

The two builds

The Nevis layer - above a licensed group.

The federation's real product is the protection layer. Our build pairs it with real licences. One coherent architecture, delivered as one programme.

Why the federation, really

What St Kitts & Nevis is actually good for.

The islands earn their place on protection law and registration quality, not on licences they never issued.

Statutory asset protection

Nevis LLC and trust ordinances carry charging-order limits and claimant hurdles that made the island a wealth-structuring standard. Real law, not marketing.Charging-order limits, real.

The founders' layer

The natural seat for holding stakes in a licensed group. Protection above the operating core, without touching the licences below.Stakes held safely.

Fast, quiet formation

LLCs and BCs form in days through established agents. The administrative layer without friction or noise.Quiet and fast.

A specific, focused regulator

The FSRC licenses what its statutes name and polices that perimeter - no rented regulatory theatre, which protects every clean entity.A perimeter, policed.

English law, ECCU stability

Common-law tradition and the EC dollar's long peg (2.70 to US$1). A predictable baseline for the layer that holds.XCD 2.70 : $1.

Cost discipline

Formation and annual fees sized for a holding entity. The regulatory budget stays where the licences are.Holding-sized fees.

How it compares

How the federation differs from licensed routes.

The comparison in plain terms: a registration-and-protection jurisdiction. The licence column stays empty by design.

What a compliant federation setup contains. What a compliant setup contains.

No licence does not mean no standards. Protection law works only for structures built cleanly. A build that survives looks like this.

01
A Nevis LLC or BC. Formed through an established registered agent, with the registered office maintained.
02
Clean ownership. UBOs documented and disclosable; protection law shields assets, not identities.
03
No licence pretence. Implying FSRC regulation of a forex book is a liability the regulator polices.
04
A licensed group beneath. The operating permission living in a jurisdiction that actually issues one.
05
Coherent group design. The Nevis layer holding, the licensed layer operating, in writing.
06
AML/CFT discipline. KYC and screening at group standard even where local law asks less.
07
Banking reality. Accounts and PSPs chosen for a protection-plus-licence structure, not against it.
08
Corporate records. Registers, resolutions and accounts kept as if a court will one day read them; with protection law, one might.
09
Annual maintenance. Agent, fees and filings kept current across both islands' requirements.
10
Substance where it matters. People and operations placed in the licensed jurisdictions, not the letterbox.
01
LLC/BC via established agent.
02
UBOs documented.
03
No licence pretence.
04
Licensed group beneath.
05
Coherent stack, in writing.
06
Group-standard AML.
07
Banking chosen on merit.
08
Court-ready records.
09
Fees current, both islands.
10
Substance where licensed.

Good to know

The fiscal shape of a federation entity.

Fee-based economics at the entity layer. With the famous absence of personal income tax at the founder level and real planning done group-wide.

Registration-fee economics

Formation and annual fees are the entity's defining costs. Modest, predictable line items itemised before you start.Predictable line items.

No licence fees

There is no forex licence, so there are no licence fees. The regulatory budget lives in the jurisdictions that issue the licences. No licence exists.

No personal income tax

The federation levies no personal income tax. A founder-residency detail that pairs naturally with its citizenship-by-investment tradition, modelled per case.Locally. Modelled per case.

Group-level planning

Where profits are booked, taxed and distributed is a group design question. Modelled across the Nevis layer and the licensed entities together.Booked where designed.

Owner-level rules decide

CFC, management-and-control and residency rules in the founders' actual countries set the real outcome. Planned before the first invoice.CFC decides outcomes.

Thin treaty network

The federation is not a treaty jurisdiction for these purposes. Corridors that need treaties route through group entities built for them.Route deliberately.

FAQ

The St Kitts & Nevis forex question - the questions we hear.

Is there a forex licence in St Kitts and Nevis?+

No. The FSRC's licensable list covers insurance, money services, gaming, fiduciaries and their neighbours - retail forex brokerage is not on it. A Nevis LLC or BC is a registration, not a permission.

What is the federation actually known for?+

Asset-protection law: Nevis LLC and trust ordinances with charging-order limits and claimant hurdles that made the island a wealth-structuring standard. That heritage, not licensing - is the real product.

How does that help a forex group?+

As the holding layer: founders hold their stakes in the licensed group through Nevis entities, adding statutory protection above the operating core - something none of the registration-hub peers offer.

Can a Nevis company legally serve forex clients?+

Only inside a structure licensed where those clients are. The Nevis entity holds; the licensed entities operate. We build the two together, wired cleanly.

How fast is the setup?+

The entity forms in days. The real timeline is the licence beneath it - weeks in Vanuatu, months in Seychelles or Mauritius, longer in MiFID Europe, so we start the licence first.

What does the entity cost to keep?+

Registered agent, office and annual fees - modest and predictable, itemised before you start. The regulatory budget belongs to the licensing jurisdiction.

How is the structure taxed?+

Entity-level costs are fees; the federation levies no personal income tax locally, and the meaningful questions - where profits are booked, taxed and distributed - are group and owner-level design under the founders' own CFC and residency rules.

Does the protection law really work?+

When structures are built cleanly and early, Nevis mechanics are among the most tested offshore, but they shield assets, not misconduct, and they never substitute for the licences the operating book needs. We draft to that standard.

St Kitts & Nevis or the other registration islands?+

SVG and St Lucia are operating-entity hubs; the federation's edge is the protection layer above the group. Many builds use both - operating entity on one island, holding on Nevis. We model the stack.

Why Prifinance for the federation?+

A Basseterre presence, Nevis drafting that survives testing, and the licensed group - Seychelles, Mauritius, Labuan, MiFID - built beneath it as one programme.

Licence?+

None - FSRC list excludes FX.
