Argentina is one of the world's highest crypto-adoption markets, and since 2024 it has a real regime. Law 27,739 created a mandatory registry of Virtual Asset Service Providers with the CNV, and follow-up resolutions added net-worth, custody, cybersecurity and governance rules. Registration is required even for foreign providers serving Argentine users. It is a market play, not a tax one, and we build it end to end.
Updated
A huge market, now with a registry.
Years of inflation made Argentines some of the heaviest crypto users on earth, and in 2024 the law caught up. Law 27,739, passed in March 2024, gave the CNV - the National Securities Commission - powers to supervise and regulate Virtual Asset Service Providers, and created a mandatory PSAV registry. CNV General Resolution 994/2024 set the first registry mechanics, and Resolution 1058/2025 added the substance: operating, custody, governance and cybersecurity rules, and minimum net-worth requirements that vary by VASP category. PSAVs are also obligated subjects under Argentina's anti-money-laundering law.
The reach is broad and deliberate - any entity or individual operating as a PSAV, whether incorporated in Argentina or abroad, must register with the CNV before conducting activity that serves Argentine users. This is an onshore, market-access play, and we are plain about it: with corporate tax around 35%, Argentina is not a low-tax base. What it offers is direct, lawful access to one of the world's most crypto-active populations, behind a genuine registry. What you build is the registration - a local company or a foreign registered provider - the net-worth and cybersecurity compliance, and the AML programme. We build all of it together.

The users are the reason.
One of the world's most crypto-active populations, now behind a real registry - the value is access and legitimacy, not tax.
Years of inflation drove Argentines to crypto at a rate few countries match. A registered PSAV can serve that market lawfully and directly, rather than in the grey zone. One of the most crypto-active.
Law 27,739 and the CNV resolutions turned a grey market into a registered one in 2024-2025. A PSAV registration reads as a genuine, supervised status - a credibility the old setup lacked.Registered, not grey.
The registry covers both Argentine and foreign providers serving Argentine users - so there is a lawful path whether you incorporate locally or register a foreign entity.A lawful path either way.
The rules are fresh, with 1058/2025 only recently settling the operating standards. Registering early means being compliant before rivals, in a market this deep.Rules only just settled.
We say it plainly: corporate tax around 35% and crypto taxed normally. You pay onshore tax for onshore access to a huge market - and we plan it, not pretend it away.~35% tax for access.
The CNV registers on the file - net worth, custody, cybersecurity and AML. We build all of it to the standard the regulator and correspondent banks read as legitimacy.Registered on the file.

Taxation and the honest position in Argentina.
A high onshore rate in a huge market - Argentina is a pure market-access play, and we set the tax out plainly.
Argentine companies face corporate income tax at roughly 35%. This is an onshore market, not an offshore zero - the tax is the price of access to a vast user base.High onshore rate.
Crypto income and gains are taxed under the general rules; there is no special exemption. The position is documented and planned, not avoided.General rules.
You come to Argentina for one of the world's most crypto-active populations, not for the rate. The market is the entire case, and we plan the tax around it.The market is the case.

The Argentina crypto regime, answered honestly.
Is crypto regulated in Argentina now?+
Yes. Law 27,739 (2024) gave the CNV power over Virtual Asset Service Providers and created a mandatory PSAV registry, and Resolutions 994/2024 and 1058/2025 added net-worth, custody, governance and cybersecurity rules. It is a real, current regime.
Do foreign providers have to register?+
Yes - the registry covers any PSAV serving Argentine users, whether incorporated in Argentina or abroad. Registration is required before conducting activity, and it is enforced.
What are the operating rules?+
Resolution 1058/2025 sets minimum net worth by category, plus custody, governance and cybersecurity requirements to protect users and handle incidents. PSAVs are also AML-obligated subjects.
Why Argentina rather than offshore?+
For the market. Argentina is one of the highest crypto-adoption countries in the world, and a registered PSAV can serve it lawfully. Offshore gives tax, not this kind of direct local access.
How is it taxed?+
Corporate tax around 35% and crypto taxed normally - it is not a tax haven. A foreign-registered PSAV can keep its tax base elsewhere, and we model that; either way, the reason to be here is the users.
How new is this?+
Fresh - the law is from 2024 and the operating standards settled through 2025. Registering early means being compliant ahead of rivals in a very deep market.
How long does it take?+
Realistically a few months once the file is complete. The net-worth, cybersecurity and AML quality is what keeps the CNV review moving.
Why Argentina with you?+
Because the CNV registers on the file - net worth, custody, cyber and AML. We build the registration to the standard the regulator and banks read, which is what makes it usable.
Regulated now?+
Yes - Law 27,739 + CNV registry.
Foreign providers?+
Must register to serve Argentina.
Operating rules?+
Net worth, custody, cyber (RG 1058).
Why not offshore?+
For the huge user base.
Tax?+
~35%; foreign base possible.
How new?+
2024 law; 2025 operating rules.
How long?+
A few months once complete.
