How to set up a company
Registration of a company in Mali can be done through the unified service desk. Before submitting the documents need to be notarized in the local company. Local notary will make a statute, register all the papers, take the Stamp Duty and help in the court process. Also fixed payment (for minimum capital it will be 25 000 franks KFA) includes a payment for the work of notary, advertising about new firm in the official newspapers and payment of charges of the unified service desk.
The founders of the business can sigh written deposition (affidavit) that C-suite don’t have criminal history. If the capital is bigger than minimum there will be an extra payment 3%.
Then you will need
- furnish two certificates that confirm no record of convictions of the director. You can receive it in court (even after registration). All you need is to show the copies of identity cards of each founder;
- to pay stamp duty through the notary or representative of tax bureau;
- register to pay taxes;
- get a license and permission for doing business.
Then you need to send all the documents to the unified service desk and if all the documents were filled correctly the company will be registered in Commercial Registry. After this all the founders get identification number NINA and register in pension and social department.
